Last Wednesday the 4,000 students in Teheran got a guest speaker, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. This was part of their course titled “A World Without Zionism“. His presence was part of celebrations for the final Friday of the Ramadan fast. The main message of this lecture was the need for the destruction of Israel and the immediate removal of this “stain” on the face of Islam. The crowed cheered with acceptance at these words.

Following the success of MillionDollarHomepage, I believe he is now at $520,500 ! I got a comment from BushNoMore.com. Yes it’s political and its been done to death, there are now million dollar sites for every country in the world.

But this is a slightly different approach, one that goes to develop the “Pixel Advertising” trend if you please, while attempting to deliver a strong political message. Because after all, if this site actually gets to fulfill its goal and sell 10,000 pixels - then what we have here is a petition !
Good luck.

So Bill was here for a first visit. He graced us with his presence and made all the CEO’s of the local technology companies, prominent politicians and ministers real excited. They came to see the legend and hear some wise tehnical guru share his vision.
What they got was a well oiled marketing machine that came here to make sure Israel remains a loyal Microsoft user, customer and fan. That’s it and nothing more!
Bill came to Israel to make sure we don’t stray. Don’t explore other technologies, advance open source technologies for example (like the one powering this blog for example..). It was a sales trip. Sorry folks…
Heard in the halls that day:
Why did Bill Gates come to Israel? He came to visit the one XP license owner they have here.

You gotta love this. This guy needed some money for college in the UK and came up with a one page grid on his site called The Million Dollar Homepage.
Anyone can place a 10×10 pixel on the page for $100. There are 10,000 so a Million Bukaroos !! Not too shabby considering he sold so far $444,500 worth. Can you believe that people are so buzz hungry that they will just throw their money at just about anything..
My block is 40 down and 12 across.

Well it’s here, the New Year, Rosh Hashana or in direct translation “Head of the Year”. According to the the Jewish religion we are now at the eve of the new year and the month of October this year is filled with Jewish holidays. This day also marks the beginning of the ten days of repentance culminating in Yom Kippur, the “Day of Atonement”. This is a good time to take stock of where we are and where we are going, and the newspaper is as good a place as any. 5766 Year in review. (more…)

We went in the middle of the Summer 2005 to Rosh Hanikra. Lots of kids with us and a few adults. Had a great time. Rosh Hanikra is the Northern most point on the Israeli coastline. The visitor can walk through the Grottos all created in a chaulk mountain. The Grottos are cool and damp, the water Green and its a truely unique location in Israel.
