Avi Shaked is hitting it hard. Last night the phone rings and I get a call from…you guessed it, Avi Shaked. “I am a millionaire, socialist and I am running for the Labour Party”. It was a recorded message of course, can’t expect a millionaire to speak to just anyone, but hey it was nice to see that he cared. I got to find out whose list I am on. A couple of weeks ago I could have sworn it was Peres who called….
Then this morning on the way into Tel Aviv on the main highway – GUESS WHO !?

Running for the Labour Party in Knesset
Now just a quick question. Is he not ashamed of being a socialist, or not ashamed of being a millionaire. which is it ?
From the size of the billboard its pretty obvious shame is not an issue..
He’s trying to say he’s not the typical greedy Millionaire I guess… Kinda like a Captialist Communist? We’ll that may go to far but if he’s a giving and caring person I guess he’s alright in my book.
