ISLAM’S ABYSMAL TREATMENT OF MINORITIES CONTINUES! CAN ANYTHING STOP THE RAPES AND THE KILLINGS OF CHRISTIANS IN THE MIDDLE EAST AND INDONESIA? IS THERE AN ALTERNATIVE TO CONVERSION, SLAVERY OR DEATH? WOULD AFFIRMATIVE ACTIONS PROGRAMS WORK?

Joseph Zogby was an aide to Assistant Secretary of State Martin Indyk during the Clinton administration. He was part of Slick Willie’s most disastrous outreach programs bringing in friends of the PLO and Hamas to get their insights into the Middle East. Zogby had frequently condemned his own country for its genocidal treatment of Native Americans and for the willful ineffectuality of the Americans in dealing with Israel. Zogby, of course, is an Arab American. The genocidal treatment of Christians in the Middle East by Muslims was never one of his concerns. But things are changing they say a new age begins, democracy is a-foot in the Middle East. Are they sure? Can one bet on it? What are the odds?

Is Iraq safe for Christianity now that Saddam Hussein has been deposed? Of course, there are tens of thousands of American troops patrolling the most dangerous areas; a democratic government of sorts is in the making; women are voting; Mullahs are proclaiming peace and toleration. It should be safe for an angelus or two, maybe a couple of Stations of the Cross shouldn’t it?

Think again. Christian women are being abused on the streets of Baghdad by Islamo-fascist thugs for not wearing the hijab; shop owners mostly Christians who sold beer under Saddam without fear are being shot dead in their own places of business; four churches were bombed in a single day in Baghdad; priests have been threatened and killed; Christian children are being forced to read the Quran; Christian Midnight Mass was cancelled this year because of fears of being bombed.

Hell’s Kitchen was safer than modern Iraq. The Gophers and the Dead Rabbits (the Crips and Bloods of the 19th Century) were more sociable and less violent, even after hours of swilling cheap booze in their tumbledown grog shops, than Iraq’s current “Allahu akbar” screaming Jihadists.
Could this have something to do with it: Quran 9:29 “Fight those who do not believe in Allah or the Last Day, who do not forbid that which has been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, or acknowledge the Religion of Truth (Islam), even if they are People of the Book (Christians and Jews), until they pay the Jizya tribute tax in submission, feeling themselves subdued and brought low.”

The Dead Rabbits never asked anybody to convert to their laissez faire theology, though some of them were in the tax collection business. Gimme ten bucks or I’ll break your window or your nose; it was optional. As bad as they were, the Dead Rabbits, dead actually meant bad to them seldom transcended the bounds of common sense. They did what they thought they could get away with. They didn’t read the Quran or Mein Kampf if they read at all and down deep they knew that what they were doing was dead wrong. Most Dead Rabbits hoped the last person they saw before they went to meet their Maker would be a priest.

Islamo-fascism is ubiquitous. Seventeen thousand police officers are currently deployed in Jakarta, Indonesia, to protect Christian churches from those who believe ‘Burn, baby, burn’ is second only to ‘Allahu Akbar’, Twenty-nine churches were hit on Christmas Eve five years ago and the Indonesian government doesn’t want a repeat of that, at least not while applying for assistance at Uncle Sam’s Welfare Office. Hundreds of thousands of East Timorese have been murdered by Muslim terrorist over the past decades; and, more recently, the usual Quran-spouting psychopaths beheaded three Christian schoolgirls.

Could this have had something to do with Indonesia’s ongoing madness: Quran 33:60 “Then they (the Hypocrites) will not be able to stay as your neighbors for any length of time. They shall have a curse on them. Whenever they are found, they shall be seized and slain without mercy fierce slaughter murdered, a horrible murdering.”

Was Mohammed talking to Allah or to Richard Speck? Things get fuzzy in Never-Never Land.

And the sorry tale continues: The Palestinian Authority has driven tens of thousands of Christians out of Jerusalem; the persecution of Coptic Christians continues unabated in Egypt; in Pakistan, Christian children are still being kidnapped and raised as Muslims; from Australia to Zanzibar, thousands of non-Muslim women are being gang-raped by sexist chauvinist pigs inspired by the Quran. Sexual harassment of non-Muslim women is as much a part of Islam as catsup and mustard are to a hamburger. Islam is both xenophobic and chauvinistic. No one will say so, no one will suggest it’s not the National Organization of Women, not the National Council of Churches, not Hollywood, not CNN, not the Bush administration. With 72 virgins waiting for them in Allah’s Great Whorehouse in the Sky one would think the Jihadists could control their sexual urges until the bomb goes off.

Islam’s treatment of women and minorities is an abomination. Yet Islam has many defenders. One of the most ardent apologists for militant Islam and father of Joseph Zogby, is Dr. James Zogby, President of the Arab American Institute. Zogby has accused Israel of conducting a holocaust against the Palestinians. He calls the Israelis Nazis. But his stock in trade is to accuse America of having practiced genocide against Native Americans. Year after year, one talk show after another, Zogby has countered every reference to Islamic terrorism by citing what happed to the Sioux at Wounded Knee. His refrain was and still is “Look what you nasty Americans did to the poor Indians.”

Well, actually, it wasn’t all that bad. The Indians gave as good as they got; they were an incredibly brave people fierce too and are about as free as anybody else in America. Islam could take some pointers from dhimmi America on the handling of minorities. Suppose Egypt gave its Coptic Christians a monopoly on gambling; suppose the Pakistanis invited Christians into their Mad-Rats-Asses schools to give exhibitions of say, the Stations of the Cross; suppose Iran set up reservations where Christian minorities could run their own affairs nations within a nation and yet get free scholarships to Teheran University; suppose the Saudi Barbarians gave their Christian minority special hunting and fishing privileges; suppose Moammar Kadhafi put Pope John Paul’s face on the Lybian dinar and Mother Teresa’s on the piastre and Richard the Lion-Heart on a postage stamp; suppose! suppose! suppose!

None of this is going to happen not when Christian leaders like Michel Sabbah, Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, an appointee of Pope John Paul, blames the Israelis and not the Palestinians for the plight of Christians in the Holy Land. Bethlehem should be a free city, says Sabbah. “The Israelis must end the occupation of the Palestinian territories. Ending the oppression and the humiliation of the Palestinians would at the same time put an end to the fear and insecurity of the Israelis.” The solution is very simple. “The Palestinian Authority said no to violence but Israel continues with its own violence so Palestinians react.”

The Patriarch has nothing but praise for Mahmoud Abbas. Sitting Bull and Crazy Horse praised Custer after he was dead. They admired bravery in an enemy, despised cowardice in friends as well as enemies. They would have loathed Sabbah. And there are thousands of Sabbahs in the Middle East. There will be no casinos for the Christians in the Holy Land or in Iraq or elsewhere, no reservations, no special fishing privileges, no free education, only the miserable, hopeless, grinding despair of an endless dhimmitude.

From the Quran 33:26 “Allah made the Jews leave their homes by terrorizing them so that you killed some and made many captive. He made
you inherit their lands, their homes, and their wealth. He gave you a country you had not traversed before.”

Sounds like grand theft. Is the Patriarch aware of this? Is Woody Harrelson aware of this? Is George Bush aware of this? Somebody ought to be.
