Remembering those who fell

yom hazikaron

Today is Yom Hazikaron, Memorial Day for Fallen Soldiers and Victims of Terrorism.

Today we remember the nearly 22,000 people who have died since 1948 as a result of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Bereaved families gather for ceremonies in cemeteries all over the country, the radio plays only sad songs, and most of the television stations have suspended broadcasting.

I’ll be remembering today, too.

I was curious to see your site and any comments or editorials that you might have on the rhetoric of Iran’s Ahmadinejad. US news agencies staying uncomfortably far away. Reporting only snippets. As typical with our news they would rather report on strippers being raped?? or anything else they can find to turn our eye away from real world concerns and threats.

Memorial Day should always be a reminder for the
    young generations,that independence and security
of a country come for a very dear price,
