Olmert and Peretz are not very good friends lately. A while ago when Peretz was talking directly to some PA leaders on his cell, Olmert was pissed and basically forbid any such initiatives without his permission and approval. Now with the recent Abu Mazen visit and the concessions Olmert is promoting it all makes sense.
