That is, though we are amongst the most intelligent people on the face of the earth time and time again we outsmart ourselves. This was not the time to be following-up on the dictum of a former leader who made a decision in a different time and for different reason. And - not only that - We've dispossessed our own people and put them and us in harm's way and for what reason? We've not only taken their land and their livelihood, we've kicked sand in their faces in terms of compensation. This whole thing is beyond regrettable - it is a 'shundah'! Why do we inevitably do this to ourselves? That is, though
