I once had a boss that was Israeli. He was so full of energy! Used to say, "Making money in America was like taking candy from a baby" He had the dark curly hair and real strong accent. I had such a CRUSH on him! He published a real estate magazine and recruited me from the Law Firm next door to sell advertising. Having no formal education in marketing, I didn't do half bad. What an experience! Eli Sofro, what a beauty! He is really the only Israeli I've known personally. He was so respectful of women, I really loved that about him.

With regard to a culture being "innate". My life's experience has lead me to believe that culture can be somewhat innate. I knew a guy that was adopted into a very well-to-do family and was raise ocean side California from the time he was 2-3 yrs. old. Very unlike his adoptive family, he was a cowboy from the get go. When he was 33, he found his original family. They were from Alabama. Country folk through and through. Strange ugh?
