Teaching the Holocaust in Palestine

Hamas and Fatah refuse to allow any form of Holocaust education in UNRWA-run schools in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

Hamas says doing so would be a “challenge to the feelings of the Palestinians.”

They accused UNRWA of conducting a political agenda that is not conducive to the interests of Palestinians and “violates their culture and unchangeable values.”

They also said it would pave the road for normalization with Israel.

“This is an attempt to impose on us the culture of normalization with the occupation…They want us to accept the tales and lies to win sympathy.”

Hamas insists the Holocaust is a lie, concocted to win sympathy with the “usurping entity” at the expense of the rights of the Palestinians.

On the matter, the Hamas ministry warned UNRWA:

“This is a flagrant intervention in the internal affairs of the Palestinians and a violation of regulations that have existed since the establishment of UNRWA.”

Representatives said schools should dedicate classes to talking about the “occupation’s terror and racism” instead.

But it’s not just Hamas. Senior Fatah official and head of the PLO “refugee department,” Zakariya al-Agha, said he too is opposed to teaching the Nazi Holocaust in Palestinian schools.

Another Fatah representative, Salah al-Wadiyeh, said the Holocuast was a “big lie.”

He said, the Palestinians, “know more than any other people the history of their enemies and their false claims and lies.”

Despite their agreement on the big Holocaust myth, however, Fatah and Hamas will not be joining up to form a unity government. Fatah representatives have spoken out about their disapproval of Prime Minister Salam Fayyad’s plans to keep Hamas in control of Gaza.

Meanwhile, a new joint effort between the Ghetto Fighters’ House Museum and the Shas party’s Ma’ayan Hinuch Torani is working on enhancing the Holocaust education of the educational network’s haredi Sephardi students.

The Holocaust Memorial Day In Pictures

Tonight at 8:00 PM we start the Yom Hashoa (Holocaust Memorial Day). In light of today’s recent events and the great UN Summit Against Racism that is pushing Iran ever closer to what will surely be an explosive end. We would like to remind you why when someone who denies the Holocaust ever existed deserves to have his country turn into the world’s largest parking lot.

“To collect as much proof, films, testimonies, because the day will come when some ‘son of a bitch’ will say this never happened”
Answer given by General Dwight D. Eisenhower as to why he had so many photographs taken of the victims of German Concentration Camps

The difficult decision has to be taken, to cause this people to disappear from the earth.

Durban II and The Horribly Racist Israel

Racist Jews?I am not sure if some of the countries boycotting the Durban II summit are doing it out of solidarity for Israel or the Jewish people. Regardless, I think its very symbolic that today the eve of the Holocaust memorial day the UN conference on racism is on its way with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad taking center stage and meeting with the Swiss President. As I write this I hear that as he started to speak, attacking Israel immediately, people started leaving the hall. What a shock.

R I PThe channel 10 News morning show today showed some Holocaust survivors who were invited to visit one of the Air Force’s largest and oldest bases. The seniors met with the pilots and saw some of the jets on the runway. There was a point where one of the visitors spoke to a pilot and asked him to assure her that there will be no more Holocausts. When asked if these air crafts can reach Iran, he answered that they could reach anywhere they were needed.

This is just one example and extension of the general mood lately. The powers in Israel are preparing the Israeli psyche for the next phase which would be the annihilation of the Iranian Nuclear program. In this case a UN summit “dedicated” to fighting racism and whoring itself out to a notorious Holocaust denier who clearly is calling for destruction of Israel (a UN member) is just the sort of confirmation that the Israeli government is looking for.

I hope the UN books an alternate speaker for the next Durban summit because I have a feeling President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad won’t be available.

He’s at it Again! Ahmadinejed and the 2006 Football World Cup

It seems that Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad just doesn’t know when to shut up. His latest contribution to his country’s increased isolation now comes from remarks he made today regarding the German Government’s refusal to let him attend this year’s World Cup, scheduled to begin in Germany this coming July. In an interview with a reporter for the German newspaper Der Spiegel, Mr. Ahmadinejad continued with his opinions concerning the Holocaust.

Mahmoud AhmadinejadDuring the interview, Mr.Ahmadinejad continued to state that the story of The Holocaust is “a series of lies” told by the world Zionest ‘conspiracy’, and that he personally would believe it and accept it as the truth only if be believed it to be so. “I only believe that something can be true if I totally believe in it.”, Ahmadinejad commented, regarding The Holocaust.

Since being elected of the Islamic Republic of Iran, few if any kind words regarding the non-Islamic word have been uttered by Mr. Ahmadinejad. If personally barred from the World Cup, the Iranian president will most likely take out his wrath against countries who simply do not accept Mr. Ahmadinjad and his line of rhetoric.

Iranians themselves view their president’s statements with mixed emotion. “We feel that our government does not care for out well fare, and only gives money to terrorist groups and similar organizations”, a young Iranian student was reported to have said recently in a protest gathering of university students. Perhaps Iran’s younger generation, being more and more frustrated, due to lack of job opportunities and curtailing of individual freedoms, are beginning to view their president in a different manner. “Islam may have a strong pull in this country, but in the long run, people have to live” an Iranian businessman commented.

Iran’s pledge to give the Palestinian Authority a sum of 50 million dollars has also been met with protest by Iranians, many of whom would love to see that money used to help create job opportunities to young (and not so young) Iranians.

Returning to the Iranian president’s World Cup remarks, Mr Ahmadinejad had planned to be present in Germany when the Iranian team plays there this summer. “A Zionest web is preventing me from traveling to Germany to see may country’s team play”, he remarked to the reporter. Interesting that he should say this, in light of all the rhetoric that has been coming from him in an almost continuous flow, since he assumed office as Iran’s president. “My decision (to the attend) depends upon a lot of things”, Ahmadinejad was reported to have said.

Perhaps Mr. Ahmadinejad should take time to consider just what people have against him outside (and probably inside) of Iran. With this in mind, and the Iranian nuclear issue still very much in the forefront, Mr. Ahmadinejad should consider being more compromising in terms of his feelings toward the West, in general, and Israel in particular. The Iranian president ended the interview commenting that Germans are not being allowed to “write the truth” regarding the Holocaust. He claims to only be speaking the truth – his version that is.

What Holocaust ?

LIFE IN MAHMOUD AHMADINEJAD’S TWILIGHT ZONE

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad You just got to love that precious little rat-bag. When Pat Robertson and Harry Bellefonte run out of stupid things to say and when Howard Dean and Dennis Kucinich lapse temporarily into brain-lock one can depend on Iran’s new president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, to keep the insanity alive. If His Worthiness had been born Moe Howard his finger would have been attached permanently to Curley’s eye; if he had been born Archie Bunker the meathead would have shot him dead after the first episode; if he had been born Joseph Goebbels, Herr Hitler would have let him run the Third Reich and retired to Berchtesgaden with Eva Braun knowing that things were in competent hands. Ahmadinejad is beyond outrageous. He is where the Twilight Zone ends and Dante’s Inferno begins.

The precious little rat-bag delivered a speech recently to thousands of admiring true believers in the Iranian city of Zahedan and he couldn’t resist mentioning the Holocaust. It’s amazing how he keeps going on and on about something he thinks never happened. “They have invented a myth,” he said, “that Jews were massacred and place this (the massacre) above God, religions, and the prophets.”

A myth? Is he sure? How could that be possible? The Germans were very thorough in their search. Did the Jews hide behind non-Islamic trees that refused to betray them to the Nazis? Is that how they escaped being sent to Dachau or Treblinka? Is he as mad at the trees as he is at the Jews? Are these trees the famous Cedars of Lebanon? Does he want to cut them down? Is he in need of a refresher course at a Mad-Rats-Asses school? One takes one’s pick.

“The West has given more significance to the myth of the genocide of the Jews,” he said, and it “deals very severely with those who deny the myth but does not do anything to those who deny God, religion and the prophet.”

Deals very severely with whom? David Duke is still alive and so it David Irving and unless Mahmoud’s hair glows in the dark and he has a couple of spent nuclear fuel rods embedded in his butt, nobody has laid a hand on him either.

But our precious little rat-bag wasn’t finished. “If you have burned the Jews, why don’t you give a piece of Europe, the United States, Canada or Alaska to Israel,” he suggested. “If you have committed this huge crime why should the innocent nation of Palestine pay for this crime?”

The Twilight ZoneOkay, forget that Palestine is not innocent; forget that Palestine is not yet a nation; forget that the crimes committed by Palestine on a per capita basis are equal to those committed by Nazi Germany forget all that and one is living in Mahmoud’s world. If Rod Serling had listened to just one of Ahmedinejad’s speeches he would never have written another Twilight Zone episode. He would have gone to where the woodbine twineth and would never have been heard of again. One cannot top reality shows when combined with the theatre of the absurd.

Mahmoud is Hannibal Lector, Darth Vader, and Count Dracula all rolled into one. Okay, maybe Dracula doesn’t belong in that group. Compared to the little rat-bag, the Count is a sympathetic fellow who needs frequent blood transfusions. And who wouldn’t prefer Transylvania in the summertime to Iran at any time of they year? It’s the ambiance.

Someone must have whispered in Mahmoud’s ear that George W. Bush was a believer in the Holocaust. Well, that would never do! Of course, the Texas Gunslinger is a million light-years and a dozen hadiths below Mahmoud’s intellectual level and was liable to believe anything Condi Rice might tell him, but, nonetheless, Bush and the dhimmi world is in need of enlightenment.

So within a few days Iran will convene a Holocaust-denial conference. Among those expected to attend one might include: David Duke, David Irving, Noam Chomsky, Louis Farrakhan, James McDermott, Norman Finkelstein, Ward Churchill, and most of the professors of Middle East studies at Columbia, Berkeley, Chapel Hill, Cambridge and non-sectarian DePaul University.

FYI, and please, Ward Churchill, pay attention:

From The Trial of Adolf Eichmann: Judgement (part 50 of 70)
“156. This is the place to add a few words about the accused’s personal contact with the Mufti (the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem) Hajj Amin al-Husseini. It has been proved to us that the Mufti, too, aimed at the implementation of the Final Solution, viz., the extermination of European Jewry, and there is no doubt, had Hitler succeeded in conquering Palestine, the Jewish population of Palestine as well would have been subject to total extermination, with the support of the Mufti.”

Gosh! Do you think anybody will bring that up at the conference? It’s something Our Precious Little Rat-Bag needs to know!

Meanwhile, in Mecca tens of thousands of Muslims, urged on by Iran’s Mad Mullahs, are screaming, “Death to Israel! Death to Israel!” And, oh yeah, “Death to America!”

If Rod Serling had ever written anything like this he would have been locked up in a mental institution.
