Palestinian islamic Jihad Joins Forces With al Qaeda

WikiLeaks recently revealed that “Iran developed camera-equipped suicide vests for al Qaeda’s attacks on US troops under the instruction of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Center in Tehran.”

Now Islamic Jihad’s “Jerusalem Brigades” in the Gaza Strip have been equipped with the same SVIED (Suicide Vest Improvised Explosive Devices) and have transferred some to al Qaeda cells in the territory.

The suicide vest is fitted with miniature cameras enabling the bomber to monitor and relay images of an on-coming attack before it reaches target. This enables the bomber to stay in touch with his command every step of the way and to obtain images of the environment he is entering.

Reportedly, Iranian proxy, Islamic Jihad which has now entered a de facto fraternity with Osama Bin Laden’s al Qaeda are a “thorn in the sides of the Hamas rulers.”

“Jihad commanders are training the al Qaeda squads in the use of the novel suicide weapon of exactly the same type as Iran gave al Qaeda in Iraq and are joining them for missions against Israeli targets across the Gaza border.”
Hamas has warned the Jerusalem Brigades to cease cooperation with al Qaeda in the Gaza Strip or else their training facilities and weapons caches will be destroyed.
The Islamic Jihad sent back a two-arm reply:
* Any members carrying out attacks on Israel by firing rockets, planting bombs or using explosive vests without explicit instructions from their commanders will be expelled from the Islamic Jihad and ostracized.
*Jihad leaders are ready for dialogue with Hamas, provided that its fighters are attached to the Hamas special force known to the IDF as the “Hamas Covert Unit,” which was recently established to keep random missile fire against Israel in check.

Harakat al-Jihad al-Islami al-Filastini, or Palestinian Islamic Jihad, was founded in 1979 by Fathi Shaqaqi and other radical Palestinian students in Egypt who split from the Palestinian Muslim Brotherhood in the Gaza Strip whom they saw as too moderate. The 1979 Islamic revolution in Iran influenced Shaqaqi, who believed the liberation of Palestine would unite the Arab and Muslim world into a single great Islamic state. Today they still stand steadfast in their objective to create a state by annihilating Israel.

IRAN: 20% Increase on Uranium Stockpile, 15% on Rhetoric

“Today Palestine is the symbol of life, determination, faithfulness, diligence, and dignity,”

Iran’s Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei told Ramadan Abdullah, the secretary general of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement.

“Israel is going downhill toward decline and fall and God willing its obliteration is certain.”

In these sentiments, Khameini joined a long list of top Iranian officials, not the least of which is President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad who has said on several occasions that Israel should be destroyed.

Last year Ahmadinejad said that Israel was “dying” and that people in the Middle East would destroy it if given the chance. He also stressed that opposition to Israel is a fundamental principle in Shi’ite Muslim Iran:

“They should know that regional nations hate this fake and criminal regime and if the smallest and briefest chance is given to regional nations they will destroy [it].”

In 2005 Ahmadinejad said that

“Israel should be wiped off the map”

.
Then he made his U.S. tour to spread the gospel of Holocaust denial on prime-time U.S. television, the United Nations and at Columbia University in uptown Manhattan.

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad ordered Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization to begin enriching the nation’s uranium stockpile to a level of 20%, up from 3.5% and to build an additional 10 uranium enrichment facilities.

The move is a rejection of a Western diplomatic deal whereby Iran’s uranium would be enriched abroad to ensure it did not reach weapons grade.

In addition Iran is nearly prepared to repel an Israeli air raid thanks to an expected delivery of advanced Russian-made anti-aircraft missile batteries. Iranian and Russian officials last Thursday confirmed that Moscow, despite Israeli objections, will honor its contract to deliver the S-300 missile systems to the Islamic Republic very soon.

Well, needless to say, Bibi will be travelling to Moscow next Sunday for three days, this time actually announcing the trip, to beg the Russians to think twice.

German Defense Minister Karl-Theodor zu Guttenberg responded to Ahmadinejad’s comments, saying:

“Today’s statement shows that farce is being played out just like we have seen in the past, that the outstretched hand of the international community has not only not been taken but pushed back.”

What happened in Italy last night

What happened in Italy last night

We didn’t expect what you see in this picture. This is the square of the Italian Parliament in Rome, Piazza Montecitorio: You can see the Palace on top of the square, and in front a lot of Israeli flags. That was last night from 6:30 to 9:30 pm. What you cannot see here, is the extraordinary number of members of Parliament, about 100 from all political sides, that took the stage during this time: for about three hours we were speaking about the role of Israel, its right to self defense, its moral height, its fight on behalf of us all, of our civilization and values, against the wild hate of the Islamic jihad represented by Hamas.

It seems to me that for the first time in the too long history of the Arab/Israeli conflict, apart from a minority of crazy leftists and fascists that took the street with anti-Semitic slogans, we have achieved a huge consensus on one critical point: this is not a local conflict, there is nothing in it that reminds us of a peace theme that has characterized the Palestinian issue. This is an attack against the western world, and Iran is behind it.

The change of attitude is great: the terrorist and religious nature of Hamas and the democratic, civilized nature of Israel are seen face to face for what they really are at least by the European elite at large, dead and wounded notwithstanding, and there rises an identification with Israel against a regime that uses human shields and promises slaughter of Jews in its charter.

What happens today, at least in Italy, is the defeat and fall of the leftist ideologies: ideology that has allowed justification of all the most violent crimes and most disgusting verbal attacks. If Arafat launched the terrorist Intifada, if he promoted the martyrdom of children in public speeches, the ideologists were ready to justify him with the issues of occupation, the Palestinian misery and loss of any hope. Not so with Hamas.

History, in Italy, has brought to a profound crisis the ideology of revolution and the justification of any cruel attack against a so-called unjust imperialist order. That time is over, nobody will see Hamas as the resolution of the problem and not even as the problem itself. I think that the word “peace” has lost that healing meaning that it once had. The new non-ideological point of view sees that there is no peace when one of the contenders doesn’t want it, and that even if the world in the short run asks for a truce, in the long run it hopes for the defeat of Hamas.

Last night, many people, Ministers and Members of Parliament, composed a very new, interesting mix of opinions. I think that when you are not overwhelmed by exotic thirdworldism, the images of children educated as hate machines, the speeches of jihad leaders, from Ahmadinejad to Nasrallah, to Haniyeh, that deny the holocaust and promise death to Jewish and Christians alike, you are left only with disgust. Westerners, thank God, can still be disgusted by uncivilized levels of political speech.

But most of all, in the Parliament square, many of the Parliament Members said: “I love Israel”.

You can’t imagine how many.

Fiamma Nirenstein, a journalist and some-time resident of Jerusalem, is a new Member of the Italian Parliament who is outspoken on Israel’s behalf. She writes below that there is increasing understanding of what Israel is facing in its current war against Hamas.

Jihadi Terrorists Swoon Over Rosie O’Donnell

RosieSome of the deadliest Palestinian terror leaders have come out to praise Rosie O’Donnell, saying her theories on 9/11 and the Bush administration are spot on. The people applauding the former co-star of “The View” are known terrorists and murderers, such as Ala Senakreh, who have not only planned and executed terrorist attacks against civilians but also developed the global terror strategies used in Iraq, the US and the UK.

“I agree with everything O’Donnell said,” boasted Ramadan Adassi, chief of the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades in the West Bank’s Anskar refugee camp.

Adassi’s terrorist boss, Ala Senakreh, went one step further and invited O’Donnell to come spend some time with them in the terror addled West Bank: “We welcome Rosie O’Donnell to stay among us and to get to know the truth from being here, like many American peace activists are doing,” said Ala Senakreh.

The terrorists sound off about O’Donnel in Aaron Klein’s book Shmoozing With Terrorists, which contains shocking interviews of radical Islamist conducted by a Jewish reporter from New York.

If O’Donnell does take the terrorists up on their offer to come live with them, she might want to keep the fact that she is gay on the down-low since Senakreh and his Islamist crew consider homosexuality a disease that should be punished by death. You can’t please everyone all the time, Rosie– but you sure can try!
